Re: My Lego City
That was my exact same option (not taken) before I moved back to the inner city. Now I need to build custom shelving to get stuff out of boxes piled on floors and on and under tables and things.

Re: My Lego City
Well here is my entry to the EB LDD Contest:
Basically it's a modular apartment in which my sigfig lives, if I ever have the money to brick build at least.
32 x 48 modular with lots of cats in the interior
The back features a small swimming pool as well as nice tree for the cats to climb as well as provide shade for al fresco dining!
The best part is the middle floor which is a dedicated LEGO room, as you can see my sigfig has a substantial layout full of old and new sets, I am waiting for the rendering to finish of this image, it's taken over 24 hours
Anyway, there are heaps more images of the interiors on my flickr account, feel free to peruse should you wish, I'd love to know what you guys think

Re: My Lego City
Wow, it's been way too long since I have done anything to my city... I have to admit, I have been doing things other than LEGO recently, mainly because I have no more money to invest in my city... I have several MOCs in the LDD stage of development, but alas, that is as far as they will go without the bricks....
On the bright side, I am pulling out the 7mm ply the city was on and replacing it with 12mm, I have already started this process which will eventually end up in a new layout (YAY) and will hopefully no longer be on warped wood and therefore level
Of course I will post some pics of the new layout when it's done

Re: My Lego City
Hello again,
As per usual it's been way too long since I've worked on my town. But I have made another 'tour' video, so please watch.
There is also a new layout in the pipelines... So to quote someone who frequents this forum, 'keep watching'

Re: My Lego City
So I have been busy with work, but have also been pottering around downstairs in the LEGO cave occasionally
The layout is on its way but in the meantime I have another couple of tours to add to this thread:
Here is the Town Plan, 10184 Town Hall MOD
and here is the Town Plan 10184 Cinema MOD
I will hopefully have some city news/pics in the next couple of weeks and the last tour (for now) of my MODs/MOCs, which will be the Music Shop
As always, love to hear your thoughts and comments,
Happy building

Re: My Lego City
Hello again,
I have just finished another MOD, this time of the Pet Shop. I'm working through some technical difficulties with my memory card, and therefore photos are on their way, but in the meantime I made a video, hope you like it
Photos to follow! Happy building

Re: My Lego City
Hello everyone,
October update is upon us. The German parcel I was waiting on came a few days after I made the video which is a huge relief, some exciting bricks and a great classic set in the order.... You'll have to wait for the November update to see what was in it!

Re: My Lego City
It is sad Timmy that you have plumbing problems and have to move your city.
The good news is that you'll be able to rebuild it bigger and better.
Carry on building.
