A quick note to wrap up this topic, you can check out the BLTG website to see all the final MOCs entered that night as well as some other shots and the official results.

Results are in the News section on the front page and the Pics are in the 2011 Gallery section.

Thanks everyone.

A little bit late, but I just built this star for the top of our tree, largely out of the pieces from the BLTG challenge.

Holy night! Silent night!

That star is wonderful, impressive and many other superlatives.

Well done Anita; it is beautiful.

How did you attach it to the tree?

Thanks Brickie.

On the back of the star I just built a 'hole' using 2 1x2 bricks and a 2x4 plate. I pushed the top of the tree through and folded the top of the tree over it.
