Was in town today and as I was driving past Toys r Us I thought I would stop in to see just how high there price markup was these days. I was surprised to see that all the sets appeared to be set at RRP (including starwars) and they then had a 20% off sale on all Lego. So I picked up :

3942 Heartlake Dog Show ($27.99)
&
3930 Stephanie’s Outdoor Bakery ($7.99)

One box of S7 minifigs arrived today from Germany; A$2.35 each.

There will be a set of 16 for 2 mates and myself. Can't wait for the grandkids to come over to open them up and put the contents in little bags.

I just have to think of a way of telling the other 2 that there were no bagpipers in the box. legotounge

^ Nice one, Brickie. I suppose the S7 Minifigures haven't ''officially'' landed in Aus. yet?

As a result Target charging 20% off this week I've finally started to buy the Collectable Minifigures Series 7.

I bought 5 packets for myself and scored one of each of the following legohappy

Computer Programmer
Daredevil
Galaxy Patrol Officer
Tennis Ace
Viking Woman

Probably buy a few more packets before the sale ends as I think its a good buy at the price of $3.92 !!!

I bought another 4 packets of the Collectable Minifigures Series 7 from Target's 20% off sale and opened them to score one of each of the following,

Bride
Evil Knight
Jungle Boy
Swimming Champion

I reckon I will buy a few more packets this weekend to finish off the collection before the sale ends as I think its a good buy at the price of $3.92.

Also purchased a blue coloured Collector Minifigure Case which I bought from Big W !!!

I couldn't wait for the upcoming Toy Sales at K-Mart, so I caved into temptation and bought the new Car Park & Garage Set # 4207 which has since been unpacked from the box and will be built over the weekend.

A lot of sets are very tempting so I may have to put the ones that I cannot afford onto a Lay-By or two for my upcoming birthday or christmas as I would hate to miss out !!!

Bought 7633 Construction Site (2009) last night off eBay. While some BrickLink places had it slightly cheaper, the fact is, for large sets, international shipping is a killer.

I could of waited until Wednesday but had the motivation to start building it which is why I caved into temptation.

I'm probably the most motivated to build my LEGO having experienced a lucky escape from a 4 car pile up lego8O

My four modular buildings, Market Street, Green Grocer, Fire Brigade and the Grand Emporium which were travelling with me copped a fair whack and face rebuilding to see how much is damaged.

At this stage the Market Street building looks to have come out of the crash unscathed as it is almost 3/4 rebuilt legohappy

I don't know about the other three as yet so having just read all of the above you can probably understand my motivation to build right now !!!

As long as you are okay, Lego can be rebuilt....human lives are a bit more difficult to rebuild.
