Whilst making a LayBy yesterday I stumbled across the Star Wars set of Echo Base # 7749 for just $29.00 so I bought one today.

I have calculated that it is 25% off the normal price so I am intending to buy three or four more before the sale ends which I think is a bargain at this time of year.

My way of thinking is that it is a good opportunity to build up my Star Wars minifigure collection especially buying some more of those Tauntaun's that Han Solo is aboard before they become hard to find legohappy

I went into K-Mart specifically looking for a few large green base plates so I could begin one of my slowly but surely LEGO display projects and left there empty handed.

So then I went into Target and found myself a 4WD Horse & Trailer priced at $28.00 so I picked one out and grabbed a smaller base plate thinking I was about to be charged about $38.00 for both items.

Happy to report I grabbed it at 33% off so I am going back to get some more on Monday at that price legohappy

Picked up 2 Cargo Trains today from David Jones for $139ea!

2 for less then the regular price of one is always a great buy!

Just bought the last remaining small green base plates that were on special at my local Target and a set of the Train Track Set # 7895.

Already begun to modify the Cargo Station Area to fit these into my layout which I am keeping under wraps at this stage.

Today I bought the LEGO City limo and helicopter set #3222. Got it for $45 at Big W.

I got my series 3 minifigs yesterday ($3.25 each when buying a complete set, so much cheaper and easier).

I also love the baseball caps, oh and the archers hair (with the ears).

I also got the 2504 Spinjitzu Dojo Ninjago set. Purely for the panels in the windows and the straw hat. My son loves it because it has lots of violent bits.

Hey Taz how did you go with the half case you got?
There were 3 fisherman in the half case and 4 in the full case that I got
Bumbed that there were only 3 elves, but I guess can trade for them legohappy

I thought I read somewhere that the case assortments only had 2 fishermen per box.

Oh well, ripping open 60 figures with my kids was lots of fun legohappy
