Re: What I bought today
just ordered the hull for my ship , bit the bullet and bought old brown middle sections from the states as no one in Aus seems to have any.
Ship will have 4 mid sections plus the bow and stern so just a bit longer than the BSB,
oh got masts as well ( old type) so will be 2 1/2 mast if you get my drift.

Re: What I bought today
I went to the Myer 3for2 sale the other day. I bought 9 large grey baseplates and two HP burrows sets (the third went to another of the MUGs).
A few of the Brickvention committee had a meeting to look around the Melbourne Town Hall in preparation for next years Brickvention, and there were plans to go to the pub afterwards but the Myer sale derailed those plans

Re: What I bought today
I was at TRU the other day (as you do!), and they had Agents Aerial Defense Unit 8971 marked down to $79.99 they also had spend more than $40 on LEGO and get a free Toy Story Army Jeep 30071 going!
First the 8971 scanned in at $63.99 and because it took them a while to locate the 30071 they gave me 2! ;o)

Re: What I bought today
Nice! How much did you pay for old brown hull middle sections? It's not particularly noticable, but there is a new brown hull section on my ship...but don't tell anyone!
Re: What I bought today
About 4.75USD each plus postage so not real cheap but the cheapest out there.
now to find laticed windows ..... I want 5 , could steal them of the MMV but that's in use....have you seen the price for that type of window (4x3x1 i think) i supose there are in high demand for ship and house building alike and not in very many smaller sets.
