I got 7641 - City Corner for Father's Day! Yay! When the Mrs came home from the K-Mart Toy Sale earlier this year, she told me that all the City Corner's were sold out. She had, however, bought one and put it in a safe place until today. God bless her!! By the way, Happy Father's Day to all the Dads out there today.

Today I got a Chauchilla Cemetery Battle. :-D:: It's awesome!

If you need a kickstand for the bike cut the sticking up bit at the front of a handgun and put it in the Technic connection. legosad-:legosmile2

Why would you spend money on RC trains when you could be spending money on more 9v? legosad:

Well since my collection so far is nearly all the 4.5V, some 12V and only 1 9V train with a motor and _no_ track, its just not a good idea financially. For the same money as ten 9V straight tracks, I can get most of the PF electronics. In fact I could expand my 12V stuff cheaper than 9V. Most of the M>LTC's (Melbourne Lego Train Club) stuff is 9V so I can still run most of my trains on their track anyway. I might pick up another 9v motor or two but I think I left my 9V run way too late.

Since my interest is more for steam and the new PF motors are a bit more flexible, and more powerful for that anyway, I dont see it as a huge issue. Besides the 9V stuff is also not perfect, the motors overheat and switch off after a few hours of continuous running on long trains, there is no remote control of points, some of the transformers are so current limited that for larger layouts (especially running more than one motor to run longer trains without quick overheating) its better to use a third party transformer.

It's all pro's and con's and since I don't have very much 9V it would be silly to start a huge collection now.

I overheard a conversation that someone had opened a 7195 Ambush In Cairo and stolen the 'large' bag before leaving the rest of the box behind some other boxes. The desk clerks were discussing what they should do with the rest of the set so I quickly walked up to the counter and said I'd buy the rest of it, and they sold me the small bag and instructions for 50c. Yay! legohappy:

Thats a cool score, did you get all the figs? I'd bet you got the cool hair peices and maybe the ninja wrap?

Looks like a set for good head.

Perhaps I should clarify. New Indy face, Mutt Wiliams has a great head and the cemetry warriers have twin faces. Skull on one side, normal on the other. The two colour harley bike is also great.

Quite a bit of money for some figs and a bike but Indy sets have great figs.

But they're all fleshies pukebrick The motorbike however is cool. I like to think of it as Triumph coloured however legosmile2 $40 is a lot rich for a motorbike though, I'll probably bricklink it.
