Re: MOC/MOD Council Truck
I like the design LT, not so sure the colour combination works though.
My pick would be an all white cab, or even yellow if you have the parts.

Re: MOC/MOD Council Truck
Green and white are my council's colours.....though I would go all white but that's a bit boring isn't it !

Re: MOC/MOD Council Truck
I agree with Xyver, nice design, but the colour scheme just doesn't seem to fit. Maybe it's more the grey of the tray which is the issue.

Re: MOC/MOD Council Truck
Sadly can't change that but since a few people don't like the green I find some white parts and try it.......still think it might look boring and ho-hum.

Aware of that, they recently came out with that CITY Dump Truck which I have. Maybe you could try green and grey instead?

Re: MOC/MOD Council Truck
Thanks and I like it better this way too.....it actually only took twenty minutes to toss this version together......it will be an Isuzu truck.
Problem is I must replace both tipper and Kmart recycle trucks....oh, crap another 60 bucks down the tube.....oh well that's life !

Re: MOC/MOD Council Truck
Yep, that version looks quite a bit better. I still think green/grey would be better, but white/grey definitely looks better than the previous design.

Re: MOC/MOD Council Truck
That's a neat little trick. You always give me so much inspiration, but I never put the finer details into my work like you do.
Can you post a photo of the inside of the cab, just curious how you put the two minifigs in.

Re: MOC/MOD Council Truck
I'll try and photograph it tomorrow when the wife is off getting her hair coloured........must cover up the dark roots and a few greys....oop's who said that.....
Oh, they are both sitting on a 2x4 tile and under the old car doors 2x1 panels.....there are some of the clues to my trick and this will not be the last vehicle I will do this to neither !
Keep watching !

Re: MOC/MOD Council Truck
Seriously, Lego should employ you at their ideas factory I reckon That mixer is ingenious and I really think Lego would struggle to represent a better example of one themselves.
Re: MOC/MOD Council Truck
Would love to see one with a red barrel though (I've seen so many red mixes out and about irl)
