New Creator train!

That's a very impressive train to say the least. Hopefully I'll start getting lots of money from somewhere so I can buy it. On the flipside, there's still a lot of stuff I need to buy to complete my LEGO city, and then there's the MOCs I want to put in it.

im buying 2 sets, so i can make it a complete 6 car set.

i travelled around france on these in april. i dont like the new colour scheme, the orange is still the best.

I was thinking should I post this around 6.30 this morning I thought then no, 'Peterab' will do it......oh, well.
What a train.....what an AWESOME set......perfect for us EXPERTS eh ?
And what's SNOT to love about it eh ?
Judging it's size, it's a train....guess Myer's sometime in 2013.....we'll see ?
There is meant to be a toilet on board the train....can anyone see it ?

I got my Maersk set from Galaxy Toys.....imported into the country....so no it was never on order at Myer's or DJ's (David Jones gets very little in the way of Lego exclusives - about 1 per year).
As for 2013, in the first half of the year no other train stuff apart from the orange beauty....as far as I know.

Yeah, over there the battle is between those how like it and those how don't....I'm on the side of the like it !

Cant say im a big fan of this train , however its great that Lego is still making trains for its fans, I wonder what else we will see next year in the way of trains..

Will definitely be 2 on my wish list in January!

I tend to use this site more for local aussie content rather than breaking news, the bigger sites will nearly always beat us to it.

If we get these at retail, it will probably be in limited numbers as an exclusive like Myer got the EN. All the exclusive sets have to be specially negotiated for the Australian market since we don't have a LEGO store here.

I want at least 2 of these, and since the TGV runs with 8 car consists probably 3, if I can afford it. I still haven't bought myself the Maersk train though so it could be a while till I get them. Oh and there's a town hall and another GE on the wish list .... and I still want a couple of Diagon Alleys ... and the joust set ... it never ends

yep... it never ends! LOL. just as you start grinding down the list of stuff thats available now, and then try to chase up the old sets, they keep bringing great new stuff out to throw our plans off the rails!

i dont own any train sets (yet).. but i was in europe in april and travelled by high speed rail all over the place. riding on a TGV was a childhood dream that i fulfilled. i cannot wait to actually own one on the bookshelf once and for all

i hope they make a decent ICE train in the future as well

Though I remember when Myer first got the EN, their was only three per store....layby'ed mine before their sale started.
Hopefully, it might go Myer and independent....which means my good friend's at Toy Corner.

I understand from Lego thats its going to be a Lego exclusive only available from them or online. Can't wait for January!

And most of exclusives end up in a major retailer of some sort six months later.
