Well, thanks 'Free Spirit'.....I only have to roof the whole row of shops, put a staff member in the newsagency plus stock and little bits of advertising on the shop windows......still a lot to do !

Made some changes to the tyre bay......using an old tyre retailers name on the building.

Only the interior of the newsagent to be completed now.....making magazines in the Lego way.....challenge time !

Magazines done....now only a minfig for the newsagent.....then I'll price it up for 'Free Spirit'......and even more things next week !

It looks awesome with those magazines, just add newspapers such as the Adelaide Advertiser, The Age, The Australian, Financial Review and a Hobart Mercury with a salesman and I will be envy of brick enthusiasts living in Tassie

Since the block of shops is finished minus one minifig for the newsagent.....when can I build next ?
a] Hotel/Pub
b] Town Hall/Council Chambers
c] Police Station
d] Target Country Department Store (a new one for a Cuusoo update when it reaches 100 currently 73)
e} something I haven't thought of yet ?
Suggestions welcome.

Some options I have thought of are a bakery, cinema, sports centre/store and a village green area which could have a fountain in it to coincide with the council chambers/town hall

It has to be a pub.

Classic 2 story building with wide verandahs.

Lace iron railings of course.

What about the local RSL?

Of course the Country Woman's Association Hall and the girl guide / scout hut.

Maybe the freemasons' hall?

Local railway station and railway refreshment room.

Oh, man all these suggestions are AWESOME !
I wonder what the record is for a Lego city/town street or road ?
An RSL, old cinema, etc., etc., might give any record a nudge !
Police station is next as a request from a member on Eurobricks, don't why Free Spirit I'll be pricing up the row of shops on Tuesday.
'Brickie' you forgot the CFS/CFA station and ambulance station......plus hospital.....that might be a joint project with my wife.....she's into medical shows like R.P.A.

Thanks 'brickie', if each one was 16 stud....actually average would be 24 stud times at least 10 ideas.....240 studs times 7.5mm equals 1.8mtr's....as a minimum. Add that to the two metres or more currently......yeah ouch....The Never Ending Story !
Plus Free Spirit you ask brickie who let him out of his box of bricks ?

What I might do next is something multipurpose.......a hall with a CWA kitchen and an RSL Bar room attached to either side of the hall.....you gotta have country wedding receptions somewhere eh ?

Thanks and I think it will work even as an open back....though it will be wider than the row of shops plus a huge ceiling.....oh, well....cop shop first then this mega hall design.

I've spent an hour today building the row of shops on LDD so I can start building Free Spirit's.
