Porject Gold Coast
At the Brisbane model train show I was one of the train drivers all weekend and down side doing it was i was running other members trains not my one.
after buying the cargo train back in April it was split up and parts lost making it hard to find parts to rebuild so i have made a plan to fully rebuild this train in my image.
And this is it its bit of work togo but its look real sweet with design ideas from the Maersk and looks from USA trains.
should be done by next weekend.
Till then keep on building

Great to hear from you again.
That train is looking good. Will we see it at the Gold Coast?
Did you finish your QR electric train?

Re: Porject Gold Coast
The city train was taking too long to find parts for so I put my time in to a smaller trains and start work on some rolling stock
Re: Porject Gold Coast
You're still working on the city train though? I very much enjoyed following your build there, certainly worth persuing if you can!

Re: Porject Gold Coast
WOW the train is done here is a video of it running around my test track at home.
got make some rolling stock for it a mix of cargo and passenger carriages so it can be the best both worlds in one train.
It can run r/c or 9v.
next goal is a smaller 9v train shunter in the same color to be a set.

Re: Porject Gold Coast
Here is 2 more passenger carriage to my train set the last one is not done yet got to change it a bit before I have got the full set.
Later down the track I plan to make 10 more like this for a full train set like the Sunlander or Westlander trains.
Its pulling alot better now after fixing the front and lubricate the axles only got 40mins before i did this now it so far 2hrs and still going.
More details soon about 3 weeks togo to the gold coast model train show.
