Like many LEGOnians, I eagerly awaited the red passenger train last year.

It didn't last long in the box and it was soon carrying many minigigs around my layout at home.

That night, whilst sitting back in the lounge chair with a glass of good stuff in hand, I noticed its major flaw; you could see the feet of the minifigs through the windows. I don't think that I have seen a train where you can stand on the platform and check out the legs of the passengers.

So it was taken to the cupboard to be stored away with that other useless train; the white and red train from 6 years ago. Remember the one with the long nose on the engine that bumped into scenery on the curves and then the nose fell off; often derailing the train.

In the middle of the night, the lightbulb in the head lit up; join the 2 trains together.

Here is the result:-

I added some 'modulite' kits from "lifelites.com" to light up the front two cars.

I was very pleased with the result.

Very impressive train and I also like the look of that brown and creamy coloured modular in the right corner.

How many stories high does it go up ???

Free Spirit,

I should add that the tan building was made by one of BLTG's Toowoomba members.

He also has built a great Pizza Hut and KFC [ both in the original design ].

Nice combination of trains brickie. It does seem to be the best of both worlds.

I've been trying to keep track of BLTC for a few years, as I'm a trainhead myself (and a member of M>LTC). I keep tabs on the sydney guys by lurking on their mailing list but haven't found a reliable way of doing the same for you guys.

In January we had train layouts from Canberra, Sydney and Melbourne all combined together for Brickvention. Any chance BLTC would like to be involved next year?
