10199 Christmas Set

IMO this is an awesome set and something every good little boy and girl should get at Christmas time!! Prices are thought to be around the $US100 mark, but a lot of people reckon it will be more around the $US60-70 mark. Hopefully!!

anyone know what the story with the light brick is. Is it the star or the lights

The Lego people have out done them selfes this time round normally i have to save up to buy lego. my mum is so tempted by it she said she will by two one as a xmas decoration and one for me :D3
also a message for admin love the smilys... can we get some seasonal ones like xmas and easter halloween ect ect

I don't think its the actual lights on the tree and I don't see how it could light up the star? Its not like theres only trans pieces going up theres plain ones too.dhoman01 wrote:anyone know what the story with the light brick is. Is it the star or the lights
I think its inside the shop, You know like some Christmas decorations (i have some like this) where its a little house but you put a candle inside so the light shines through the little windows, I think this is what its supposed to do, Like a decoration.

if i do get both of them then i will begin to contuct a lego xmas town and i can have my holiday train running round on the tracks

Thats a smart brick built Christmas tree. But the thing I can see taking the Christmas Pudding (cake), is the MiniFig heads with the singing print...
I can see instantly with my dirty mind some embarrassed MiniFigs caught in "the" act... Do we have a price tag yet?

There is speculation at Eurobricks at about the US $80 mark, but I don't think that's been confrimed.

This is now on S@H at $109. Probably a little pricey, IMHO it would have been better at an even $100. I'll be on the lookout for it all the same!!
