MOC - BOC Tradequip Store (U.K.)

Just a few additions and changes today.....

More to come....though cash flow is a problem at the moment.

I have added more shelves to the side of the gondola containing hats & helmets....ready for first aid kits, sun screen bottles and other safety gear.
Some special tool sets have to be made for the fridge mechanic gear section, but no hurry on that front as it's shelves wont be ready for three weeks....shortage of parts in Adelaide.
I'll keep everyone updated.

I have had to modify my second gondola so it won't look so cramped in tight as a tin of tuna !
Note the wall stripe is up....man, do I need parts badly !

Another quick update !

I have now designed workboots to go display as well, plus power tools and their accessories.....should be done tomorrow.....as long as money comes in !

Wow! I've been lurking in this thread for quite a while, and your MOC has certainly come a long way. I like the look of it too, looks very realistic! I wish I at least had the time and money to build something like that, yet alone the skill and patience as well.

My list of merchandise to be done still, packaged workwear, boxed MIG wire reels, spray bottles of chemicals for welding, more helmets. Of course the completion of the side wall, plus rear wall and trade counter to come. Then the floor and the outside gas bottle storage area.
Along way to go still.....keep watching !

The floor has begun, I have been ordered 'cost effective' so the floor is light bluey grey which I have stocks of.....sadly I'm stripping them from my other MOCs....which is making my heart sink a little.

Just imagine if a dozen AFOLs in SA got behind you and consolidated a group and joined LUGbulk?

Perhaps lots of cheap elements.

Maybe LT, as a master builder, you should spend some energy gathering fans together in SA?

I have some more 16x16 plates to buy and to tile up, I still might have to add another line of bricks to the side wall to balance out the rear wall as "Change Room" and "Sales Counter" signs must go up. I'll update A.S.A.P. keep watching.

I have started on the rest of the flooring today and should have the whole showroom floor done tomorrow. I'll have pictures before 5pm tomorrow....I hope !

I have started on the back wall so hopefully I might have that done in two to three days....need to find lots of dark bluey grey parts.

I should have this at AdeLUG tomorrow night.

Quickly I got the computers fitted to the trade counter, only the stickering and top rows of bricks across the whole back wall to go here on this stage.

Edit - this is the real store.....

Currently I'm working on the linking system to hold the rear, showroom floor/side wall and front wall together so they can be transported to the U.K. safely. Looks like it will be tech-bricks and tech pins, presentation is everything since they are paying for it.

The mounting bases are completed, only a mig wire rack, some hoses, small tool/first aid kits and some package workwear then that's that....unless they make more changes.

Keep watching there's still a few things to come.

I have made a custom female figure now, but still waiting some cash to come my way to finish this off.....just some final detailing and that's that !
Then BOC and I can talk about money and transporting this to the U.K.
