If you could manage to get it authentic-ish.. it would look truly superb I'd have to imagine!

But I'm not sure if I go for stone/brick or wood sided structure for the train station to fit the era even though it is modern times ?

Tiger, I've been working my way through this whole thread and I'm amazed at how New Mannum has grown and come to life. So many wonderful little details and all those shop and building interiors are delightful. There are plenty of small towns here in New Zealand that share similar styles of architecture and that has certainly made the main street of New Mannum a real nostalgia trip for me.

Brick on, I'm looking forward to seeing more.

Looking good but is there any room for a pool table? Are you going to build a beer garden?

Ah, no what you see is what you get.....I must make this town fit on 48x48 base plates.....including roads, rail line and pavement too !
Now I'm also thinking of expanding the town again......maybe as I must remember that I'm broke right now !
I don't know if I should include an Elders merchandise store to compete with the Landmark or not ?

Some additions now.....ice box and bench seat.
I'm planning some extra buildings but currently I'm broke.....yep, no cash, business has been bad. In fact it's the worse in almost 10 years.....might be a sad Christmas for my family .....but I must live with hope all the time and pick myself all the time.

I need to score two more dark bluey grey 8x16 tiles because I forgot that the road continues only down pass the hotel because the next base plate only has the train station on it and the track curving around the back so it can complete it's circuit.......Monday I would say I'll try and spead them out on the floor and photo them altogether......dam must remember the roof on the pub !

Amazing seeing it altogether with all the details and townsfolk minifigs in place. It's just so wonderfully in every way a small town mainstreet.
