I was just playing around and built this today.

(I don't know how to use my husbands camera properly (I am a bit useless), so the photos are not very good sorry).

Awesome! I love all the details in this one. The crib, the machines, the drip, the books and perfume bottles, and the baby itself (boy/girl?), although it creepily reminds me of a chest burster from Alien. :D

Thanks for that Haz, now that you say it, it does remind me of the chest burster... maybe I should do a scene from alien next. legotoungesmall

Haha, outstanding work AnitaE! What a great idea for a MOC. And your photos are fine. Thanks for sharing. legohappy

Thanks Captain Zuloo.

The original ideas for the moc were a little more 'visual' of the birth process, but they didn't quite work... which is probably for the benefit of all those who would have seen them. legoeyeshutlaughing

Thanks Lightning tiger.

Many years ago I first played with the idea of a pregnant minifig when I did a Lego Ron Mueck scene (he is an artist that messes with scale in human form (amongst other things). It is something that has always just sat in the back of my mind (and I will probably explore it again in another few years legoeyeshutlaughing

2 things:

1. I love the facial expression change in each photo!

2. You might have considered using the small fig from the Creationary board game for a baby instead. I imagine a baby with an adult size head would be a pretty rough birth.
