Hi, I'm building a schooner, and have a problem with the rudder:

I would suggest going with the same sort of method that TLG did with their ships for the rudder. Take this for example:

It has no rare parts, I'd suggest going with a similar design. But if you want something more fancy, there's always Bricklink. Advice on a ship I'm building 414665

You could use the normal slopes upsidedown if you have more of them. It's a technique thats used sometimes in train building because windscreens are not always available in the right shape. There are snot guides on the web if you need more ideas on how to do this.

I thought Bricklink only shipped to the USA?

Bricklink is made up of stores owned by individuals all over the world. Some stores only ship to the US, but most stores ship to anywhere in the world. ; )
