2010 Rumors

Following our previous list of rumoured LEGO sets for next January, we have received some more information on what may be coming next year. This is all rumour until officially confirmed...

Luke's Landspeeder (8092) will come with mini-figs of Luke Skywalker, Obi-Wan Kenobi, C-3PO, R2-D2 and a Sandtrooper.

The following sets are rumoured to be released next August...

8093 - Plo Koon's Jedi Starfighter
8089 - Wampa Attack
8095 - General Grievous' Starfighter
8096 - Palpatine's Shuttle
8097 - Slave I
8098 - Clone Turbo Tank

Lego 8083 – Star Wars Rebel Trooper Battle Pack
Lego 8084 – Star Wars Snowtrooper Battle Pack
Lego 8085 – Star Wars Freeco Speeder
Lego 8086 – Star Wars Droid Tri-Fighter
Lego 8087 - Star Wars Tie Defender
Lego 8088 - Star Wars ARC-170 Starfighter
Lego 8092 - Star Wars Luke's Landspeeder

So they are just doing a re-release of some older sets and some new ones. The TIE defender would be most interesting to see though.

Palpatine's Shuttle sounds epic. I hope it isn't OT because I'd really like a CW Palpatine in a small set. Wampa Attack sounds great too.

Since I don't want The LEGO Group refusing to sell me LEGO because I breached their policies. It's their rules, not ours.

In my experience, Lego are very jealous of thier trade mark, we have to be very careful what we tell people instore even!
I have heard of a guy in Germany who was offering pre-order on sets that were still as yet un-official (back in around 2007 i think). Lego soon visited him and politely let him know he was going to get hit with a rather large law suit if he kept them online. Funnily enough all trace of them vanished overnight. Amazing what the weight of a multi billion dollar company can do hey legotounge
