Castle Interiors Empty Castle Interiors

I'm going to focus a fair amount of effort into the interior of my castle but I'm having a bit of trouble. I don't want it to be just light gray and I'm thinking some sort of paneling would look good. Some sort of wattle and daub look would be easy to create but I'm unsure if this would be used within a castle. I'll post some pics of my experiments soon.
Also I'm finding the vignette blogs quite inspirational in showing what you can do within a small space. http://vignettebricks.blogspot.com/ is ok, but I used to have know heaps more. Anyone know any good vig sites?
