I decided to do a side project from my old fashioned hardware store so here is a progress shot.....well it's over 80% completed....

This is so cool, The  petrol bowsers are amazing great work.
*side note put a couple of old time gangsters out the front and you have a episode form the t.v show 'boardwalk Empire' legohappy

Thanks now there's an idea......I'm considering building another hardware store plus a bank that would fit this build better.....oh, yeah I've done the sign too.....inspiration from the Palace Cinema.

Now an art deco update, the hardware store and bank buildings will be started in the next two days (the bank being the latter of the two to be started).......keep watching the town forum for the next update.

I would have to go without the skates on her to be more period late 30's/early 40's......the hardware store is under way, but a diner might come after the bank. Thanks 'Ajax' for suggestion.

Looking quite good. I have some of the parts from the lego petrol pump set from the early 1960's. This is very similar, amazing similar actually, considering the original set used cast pieces, similar to model train setups, rather than blocks.
