glendo saying hello
i found this place last week, i have noticed that it's not that busy, but still used.
hi, glendo here. re-discovered lego last year, when the millenium falcon was released in it's current version. i opened it, built it and enjoyed it so much that it started my new lego craze.
i have bought about 20 SW lego sets since then, some old some new. i scored my childhood lego from my mum, it was about 15kg's of old 70-80s lego, which has been washed and sorted. i bought another 30kg's from garage sales and this will make up my MOC/Custom stuff.. (which i plan to keep on adding too)
i still buy sets when i can. i have just returned from a trip to europe, went to legoland in billund last month, and went lego shopping around europe bringing back 3 big sets, and checked out HK as well. i will be definately returning to HK for lego shopping in the future.
planning a US lego shopping trip, in which i plan to bring back 20+kgs of PaB.
im a massive fan of LDD as well. starting to get to grips with it
will keep an eye on this place, cant wait to talk

Re: glendo saying hello
Hi Glendo,
Wow, you will have a massive collection already, and very jealous of you going to Billund and US Lego trips.
It does get quiet here, but is still a good place to see what is happening around the place and looking at some of the builds. I don't know if you have also seen the Eurobricks forums, they are quite busy and lots of crazy builds.
Can't wait to see some of your MOCs.

Re: glendo saying hello
is ~35kgs of lego and 24 sets considered a big stash? i've seen on the net whole rooms of lego, and i thought that's what i needed to get started!
already lurking on eurobricks, mocpages, and window shopping at bricklink.
thanks for the hello

Hi, Jigsaw/Glendo, Welcome to ANZFOL.
It sounds like you have a lot of building potential with all that lego.
