Wheat Harvester
Like all LEGO kits, vehicles don't do anything unless you push them along.
My grandson loves his farm machines so I set about making the harvester move.
Originally I was going to put a motor in there to turn the cutting blades.
Then it dawned on me that the blades already move when you push it.
The body of the machine is quite large so I tried a PF train motor to drive the back wheels.
It works; my little mate will be pleased next time he comes over.

Re: Wheat Harvester
Interesting idea there, looks like it goes quite fast though
(I suppose the PF train motors are geared for high speed). Will it be at the BLTG meeting?

Re: Wheat Harvester
Hello Red Five
I will bring it along to the meeting for a play.
I believe it looks fast in the video as it is travelling towards the camera.
From the side it travels at a realistic speed for a harvester.
