Another Adelaidien
Hi all my name's Daiman as my user name suggests and no prizes for guessing where I live.
I came across this site while doing some research at work and so here I am.
Mostly into Star wars MOCs but have a long list of things I want to build at some time.
For example a ship, a house, a castle, and some sort of large scale character.
These things always impress me when I see them done by others.
I frequent the Bricks to Bothans website and browse Brothers Brick daily just to keep my finger on the pulse.
My son is also an enthusiast and usually builds our sets before I reduce them to parts.
Cheers.

Hi Damian,
Welcome to ANZFOL, can't wait to see some of you and your son's buildings in the future. Do you have any photos of your star wars MOCS?
My son tolerates Lego, but he is sadly not an enthusiast (whereas my daughter loves playing with Lego, but she is 2 1/2, so playing with Lego for her is 'modifying' (some might call it destroying) what we have built.
Oh and I am curious as to what you were researching for work to come across this site

Hi AnitaE...My Flicker link is in my profiles website link, as for what I was researching at work has actually got me stumped.
I often come across lego links regardless of the subject I'm working on and always send them home.

The surfer boy that your son made when he was 6 is brilliant, really cool for any age to be building, but at 6, that is awesome. I also love the work desk you did and the one with the garden gnomes (the electricity pole (or because you are from Adelaide, the stobie pole) with the generator thing is well done).
You and your son do a great range of MOCS.

Hi Daiman! Glad to have another Adelaide member on board. I've only recently joined this forum myself, and am looking forward to the September AdeLUGs meeting to put some faces to names. Any chance you'd be there?
I'll check out your Flickr link and comment when i get home. Yes, i too am at 'work', keeping up with all things Lego. LOL

Hi Daiman,
Welcome along to ANZFOL.
I had a quick look at your Flickr page and there looks to be some fine work in it. I hope you find some kindred spirits among our small community.
