Very cool. Did you use fimo for the helmets?
(I have tried doing customised minifigs using fimo and it is darn hard, but you have done an awesome job with it.

Re: Ned Kelly & Joe Byrne
They're pretty sweet looking. My boyfriend was comparing his mini warhammer figurines with my lego collection last night, i was trying to work out the attraction to warhammer (i feel lego is more appealing) I can't wait to show him your customised figs. Possibly a hybrid hobby for him, i have to force him to build lego with me :P
You'd think i was breaking his arm asking him to sit down and build the imperial armada with me.

Re: Ned Kelly & Joe Byrne
Get him some castle figs and build a "Mordheim" bignette then he'll convert !
If the "LEGO Heroica" has a good rule set it could be another thing to bring him over to the light side.
I've built a few rooms and hallways in minifig scale to play table top games...... but it's still a WIP...oh yeah building a gaurd house at the moment too.So stay tuned for some "BrickWars" type builds.

Not that I know of..... and if was to be based of actual history it would be pretty boring, not that the Kelly story is a boring one just that ... well he only ever shot two coppers.... and robbed a few banks.
A game like Red Dead would only tarnish the true story......and lead people to believe he/they were common bandits, which is far from the truth. If you ever have the time to read some of the literature from when he was alive (including the letter drafted by Joe Byrne and articals relating to "The Declaration for the republic of North East Victoria) then I highly recommend you do.
