Well, okay but I'll have create a custom figure then.
I'll be there, also a good reason to see if Kmart has any thing on clearance !

Unfortunately guys, I'll most definitely be stuck at work at that time. I'll have to send a pic of my sig fig (not yet uploaded here) to lightningtiger so I can attend in spirit.
If I was there though I'd bring along some of my lego books as it's a bit more subtle than a grown man bringing along his toys.

Well James at least you had your keyring light on the table even if my computer was at home on charge (I forgot to switch it on DOH !)!

I guess this'll teach me to not look on these forums for a while... BUGGA! I guess it wouldn't have mattered too much; at 15:30 on the 5th I would have been at work; trying to negotiate my way onto South Rd from Flinders Medical Centre.

I would have hoped for a report on the event by now... How many attended; and what happened at Michel's

Maybe next time it'll be scheduled it for a day or time I'm not at work and I can make my presence known!

Only myself and 'Oddleaf' could make it.
Mainly a get to know meeting, 'Oddleaf' and myself will work out when and where the next one is held.

we should try and see if we can get like build nights at toy corner or other lego stores ? build in our natural habits lol plus easy access to purchase bricks

I'm not sure of Darren the owner of TC would allow it, though he wouldn't mind the extra sales.
We could rotate from members house to members house once a month, or use a small function room at a hotel once a month.
All these things etc., we can sort out in next few months.

yeah but if it after shop hours and it gets profit into his shop then its a no brainer all he has to do is keep the lights on and the cash reg running
