No apologies needed, it was nicely done. I like your modular building, its very good for a first effort. Thanks for sharing the extra pics.
The thing I like most about the Lego modular buildings is they are a good example to improve my buildings.

Re: Latest Sightings
It sale time and the new sets are hitting the shelves in Melbourne;
Target Highpoint has Medievil Village and Pirates and the new Spongebob sets.
The new castle sets were at Eastland as well as Market St and the Endor base set.
New city sets seem to be hiting KMarts around the place.

Re: Latest Sightings
Speaking of Market St; I was in the hobby store in Newcastle yesterday and they had at least 8 Market St's, all at $139 ea. They do mail orders through their web site, http://www.frontlinehobbies.com.au/templates/frontlinehobbiescomau_home.aspx?pageID=181
Maybe that can help someone out there?

Re: Latest Sightings
I don't know if people know, but Target at the moment have the first series of the collectable minifigs for sale. They're $3 ea, reduced for their toy sale. I bought a few!! They also have the big yellow truck for $40 and the level crossing for $32. There was good stocks of the new passenger and cargo trains, the Fire range, World Racers and new Star Wars stuff.

Re: Latest Sightings
I'm pinching myself because I picked up a bargain with the Level Crossing being on sale for $24 at my local Target.
My chances of securing another one at that price are pretty slim with stocks running low from the sales but it's worth a try !!!

Re: Latest Sightings
So how do I find out when new stock is likely to arrive in my local stores? The months indicated in the lego 2010 catalogue seem to have no resemblence to reality given that according to the brochure the collectible minifigures aren't even released yet.

Watch here or the Aussie sales thread on Eurobricks, or you local Lug (Melbourne, Sydney and Brisvegas have clubs). Sometimes the store staff will know, but may make something up to sound like they know, so they can be unreliable. You might be lucky and find a Lego rep in some stores, but that is infrequent. Ringing Lego Australia rarely results in much reliable info on non-released sets.
The most reliable info is by checking your local stores often. Other states can vary by a few weeks, so interstate reports are an indication but not a guarantee.

Re: Latest Sightings
Breaking news re: Minifigures Series 1; Target have been restocked, well, at least my local anyway. Target at Castle Hill (near Parramatta) had six boxes stting on the shelf today, so I took it upon myself to pillage the contents of one of them!! I asked the nearest Target girl, she said that they had been restocked in the last couple of days. So, if you're still after some figs, check your nearest Target Store.

Re: Latest Sightings
More series 1? I already have mine so it doesn't really concern me, but I think it's about damn time! I'm really surprised they didn't restock sooner. Thanks for that news.

Re: Latest Sightings
Went looking for S2 minifigs at Target Castle Hill (NSW) today and they had just recieved another three unopened boxes of S1 figs instead. So, if anyone in the Parramatta area missed out, Castle Hill might be the place to go.

Re: Latest Sightings
During the past couple of days I have been browsing through several toy retailers to find that the Police Station Sets are starting to arrive .
Big W has all the range of it however I have noticed something rather interesting about the Police Station which might be of significance.
The size of the box is somewhat smaller than the previous set that I bought for myself a few years ago .
Does that mean that the set is smaller in size and we are going to be paying the same price ?
I hope not for all of our sakes !!!

Re: Latest Sightings
Just been browsing again and have spotted the new Police Chase Set which looks appealing to me having had a good look at it.
As it stands I didn't buy one as I am awaiting to find it a little cheaper than the recommended retail price of $39.00 as seen at Target which may result in me waiting for one of their Toy Sales further down the track
