My Own Christmas Pressies !!!

Hi all, I think quite a few of us are thinking about Christmas and what sort of pressies we would like to get around this time of year.
I started planning several months ago by Lay-Bying a few items which has resulted in me paying off the first one of the four today.
So in my hot little hands ready to build is the Star Wars Battle of Endor # 8038.

I put aside a layby months ago for the same purpose and will be paying for it in a week with my Christmas leave loading 
This was all 30% off at Myer months ago.

I won't be getting myself much for Christmas, but perhaps in the new year if the rumors of cheaper rechargeable batteries are true I'll put in a S@H order. And I'm on the look out for a cheap way to buy a Grand Emporium or two.

It is just over a week before Christmas Day and I have chosen my pressie to buy myself which happens to be the Pet Shop Modular 10218 !!!
I originally bought one a year ago and parted with it knowing that I would replace it so after finding one at a good price I bought it and cannot wait for it to arrive in between christmas and the new year

i also have one sitting under my tree... screaming to be opened and built!
the spending spree has been delayed until after xmas... boxing day sales. i will sniff around and see what bargains are to be had. if none, the money is going towards 2x horizon express sets due out 1 Jan 13

I finally caved and bought the Star Wars Tie Fighter, I've wanted it for ages so thought I'd treat myself to it as a Christmas Present.
So I'll get a nice (fake) surprise Christmas morning when I go under the tree and find a gift from Santa that is actually for me!
If I fake it enough, my daughter will believe in Santa for atleast another year.

My Christmas present to myself just arrived today by the postie it was the Modular Pet Shop
Ive been trying to wrap it up in Xmas paper but i find it so hard i cant stop looking at the box & wanting to open it as its my first Modular Building.
All i can say to my partner is
I hope our cat (Wink Wink ) doesn't somehow open the box up over night and half assemble it for me that would be funny....lol

I bought two Maersk trains from a German bricklink store before they were discontinued as my Christmas present. Then David Jones had 20% off and free shipping so I bought a second GE and the Town Hall.
My birthday is at the start of Feb so I hope I'll be able to get a few Horrizon expresses then
