Hi everyone,

Looks like I've finally made it official and joined instead of being a "guest".

As a kid I was fortunate to have a number of sets but not having the sense to look after it all.

A lot of the pieces are still here which my kids are playing with now.

A lot of those sets were Space sets, mainly small ones like the Space Scooter and Space Bugger
as it was quite expensive for my family in those days.

And there was the Walking Astro Grappler and Star Fleet Voyager.

One of the other sets I was really fortunate to have was 6382 Fire Station, still have this apart from
the base plate which was in about 6 pieces.

My interest in Lego was reignited about 6 months ago. My boys are quite interested in Star Wars and
I let them watch it even though they are quite young. One day my wife told me about two sets she
found for sale; 7964 Republic Frigate and 7961 Darth Maul's Infiltrator.

So I went online to check the price and was pleasantly surprised that we could get both for around
half the retail price! These two boxes sat in the cupboard for a while as we thought it might be good
as Christmas presents - they are still there along with more now!

I guess for the past two months, I've been quite active looking and buying sets - both new and used.

About 3/4 would be new and 1/4 used, these would include some UCS sets which have been retired.
The boys and I would build the used sets whilst the new sets stay in storage. I'll try and take a photo
one of these days.

Sorry for the long intro, I'm quite long winded as my wife would say legoeyeshutlaughing

Thanks everyone for the warm welcome!

And nice to see some members from other forums as well legohappy

I'm sure there will be a lot of brick work happening around the house now, will post up some pics of the kids creations soon. They are soooo much better than mine, I'm quite boring and uncreative when it comes to these things.

This would be a cool addition, perhaps it could almost be like a mini-wiki? Like say if you have the box, instructions also we could take photo's of it etc along with the built set?

You can use either MOCpages, Flickr or Brickshelf to post your images first and then deep link them to your ANZFOL topic you were posting on said piece of work.
