Some Aus stuff

Since this seems to be the place to share MOCs I figured I might share a few of my more recent Aus ones. I'm guessing there should be something for the good Aussie (and Kiwi) audience here.

This little factory is loosely based on those around Wooloongabba but I've seen its clones in every Aus city I've been to (as well as some others).

Welcome to ANZFOL Tim,

I'm surprised you didn't use your normal online name, also feels a bit weird that I'm the admin and you're not.

It's nice to see your Ararat here, it's my favourite Lego train layout, and as far as realism goes equal with Bricktrix's efforts, though much purer.

I really like the holden, though it looks a bit long for a sedan, and too angled for a station wagon, though that might just be the memories of my dad's EH playing tricks on me. I'm now trying to work out if it could be done in sand blue legosmile2

I think it's the angle more than anything that makes it look odd. Its pretty damn close to the ratios of a station wagon. Rear slopes aren't ideal but there were no tan cheese when I made it. Could be improved legohappy

Actually, it could also be the fact it's two toned, my dad's was all blue. I really like the weathering effect, dad's paintwork was all powdery by the time he sold it. He considered getting a new motor put in it, but his mechanic started pointing out all the rust holes legosmile2
