steering pf Empty steering pf

hi can anyone help me out as im trying to build a steering function but every time i put a pf motor on it the motor or the gear pulls the model apart if anyone has a plan they can share that would be great

This is not really my thing so I cant help directly, but there must be sets where this is done. I'd imagine it needs to be geared down, so go find instructions of likely sets (either from Lego customer service or peeron websites) download them, and see how its done.

Correct, you need to gear it down enough so that it will turn at the correct speed, download some models others have built and have a look.
