I just want to wish everyone a happy new year.

Hobartians were treated to an hour long thunder and lightning show a few hours before midnight which I personally believe would of put any of the local fireworks displays to shame and also stopped me from finishing building the Coast Guard Ship and Tower.

That's life and at least I have something to do this weekend.

Melburnians had the other end of that storm, starting about 9PM. By midnight it was pouring.

We didn't get any rain here in Newcastle, although it was a bit muggy. Had a great night being social and watching fireworks on the TV - best seat in the house!!! legoeyeshutlaughing Happy New Year everyone!
