Since I needed parts to work on my Canadian village themed MOC's I redesigned my creation from April last year.

The scene is of local girl made good in Hollywood visiting her father at his workshop with her manager and butler.......but wait he ex-boyfriend spots her and waves.

As I said before on Eurobrick this street has 1950s atmosphere in bucket loads.

Thanks 'Annie' for your kind comment, some buildings need a lot of stickering like the hardware store and garage but only a few on the Coles variety store.

Absolutely Amazing this is one of my favorites. It has inspired me to make a start on my own little Art Deco/Art nouveau/ street

this looks brilliant

i noticed the sliding/collapsible doors at the service station, and rare as hell 1x2 sand green grooved bricks...

so is New Mannum finished and this is the new project?

Thanks 'jigsaw' and 'snap lock' for your kind feedback.......and my Aussie town is semi-finished till next week or so.....must finish Canadian village off first then finalise New Mannum......I must contact the Railshow folks and see if they have made room for me. legowink

Now with a milk bar, AMPOL and Coles.......that's as Aussie as football, meat pies, kangaroos and Holden cars. legolaugh

No vehicles being planned it's mainly a sidewalk display for Railshow 2013.

I'm trying to get inspiration for my Art Deco grocery store for another series of designs......of which I haven't posted on ANZFOL yet.......oop's.......oh, well in a few days.

Thanks 'SnapLock', yes one of my next projects is Art Deco in the 21st Century.....that is 1930's buildings but with a 21st Century interiors or just merchandise at least.
A member over on EB asked to see the doors open on the AMPOL so......
