2012 Christmas MOCs
A very successful BBQ was held to finish off a great year for AFOLs in SE Qld.
A highlight of the evening was the presentations of our MOCs. Not everyone made a MOC but they were forgiven for the errors of their ways.
The winner was the MythBusters parody made by Magnus.
He had all the characters from the show trying to bust the belief in Santa; measuring the chimney to see if a large bloke could fit down inside.
Of course, mysteriously, Santa appeared with a present for the little girl of the house. "Yes Virginia, there is a Santa Claus."
Allison created a magnificent gift box.
When she removed the lid, it revealed the pieces for a toy train; each piece in its own compartment.
Melody brought along her music staff.
Kerry made an old abandoned house that had been renovated in Christmas style.
Frosty turned up courtesy of Colin.
Roger made sure that Santa would be able to get to those in the Alps.
Nik made sure that the tree arrived on time.
Wade looked after the decorations with this large Christmas wreath.
Santa put in an appearance on the night.
Great MOCs to end the year for a talented bunch of AFOLs.

Re: 2012 Christmas MOCs
I think people voted for Magnus's MOC because of the very, very extensive back story. And because of Mythbusters.
