This house is the Apple tree house, just modified slightly. I made it a bit longer and changed the colour, I was trying to use some of the thousand blue bricks I have.

Re: Ajax's MOC & MOD'S
Great pictures, thanks for sharing Ajax.
I really like your MOC, - the white house, - all the details as well as the way you've laid out the yard are very appealing.
Blue bricks? - I've got a container of blue bricks I never seem to use as well. I wonder what it is about blue bricks that causes them to hardly ever get used?

Re: Ajax's MOC & MOD'S
Here are some beach houses I made, the middle one is a set the other 2 are MOC's. These will be along the shoreline of my city layout. They are not quite finished.

I can't get the roof right on the green house, its not done at all I just have some green plates sitting on there for the photos.

Those are great looking beach houses Ajax. I particularly like the rockery in front of the green house.

Re: Ajax's MOC & MOD'S
Awesome and inspiring indeed which has me tempted to build something along those lines for my own current beachfront of my layout.
Unfortunately at this stage my focus is to build the "Afterten Central Shopping Centre" so all I can say is keep up the good work, mate !!!

Yes I've been tempted by that ice cream van conversion too. The only problem is I can't make up my mind which one I want more , - an ice cream van or a camper van

^That's Uncle Barry sitting underneath, he doesn't like fishing much but spends the day getting drunk on red wine.

Re: Ajax's MOC & MOD'S
Nice fishing boat! And trade the red wine for a beer and i'll be joining Uncle Barry
And another quality house. I love the vine climbing the pillar and the whole outside/BBQ area is pretty cool!
How far off are pics of your whole layout? And will you be mixing in official sets with your MOCs?

Thanks, I have some of the tables ready for the layout but still need to clear a space in the garage to start assembling, My partner is a hoarder and has a massive mess in MY renovated garage, If its not cleaned up soon I will start taking it all to the tip. Its a great space too, fully lined, lockable and air conditioned room, bit bigger than a standard double garage. It will make an Awesome Lego room. As for the City it will be a mix of MOC's and regular sets but aside from the Modulars (which I still don't have any of yet) most of the official sets will be modified, I hate how Lego buildings have no backs to them, lol. The City will be made over several levels, water/ocean level which will have my shoreline, beaches, beach houses, marina, port, etc etc, and then the City level with cop shop, modulars, shops ect and then a higher level at the back which will have a small country town, farms, forest area. The levels will only be about 3-4 inches different but I think this will be enough to create more dimension.

Re: Ajax's MOC & MOD'S
Oh wow
how exciting! I can't wait til you start putting it together! HAHA It sounds like it's gonna be pretty epic...
And it sounds like you have some building ahead of you too, which is always fun...
And yeah i know what you mean about the sets not having backs. As a kid i didn't mind so much but now i find myself modifying the sets and turning everything modular.... Like the cinema (and i'm planning the Town Hall now, you persuaded me haha) Anyway, i guess it makes the creative side of us all come out to MOD them all!
Anyway, i am already looking forward to your next MOC.
Happy building

Back Street including Dentist office, town house and unknown shop? (barbers maybe) This is directly behind the Octon service centre, they both run back to back with a small one way street in between with access to the drive through car wash which is part of the Octon service centre.

I like that townhouse Ajax. Using the brown log bricks to give it a wood-like texture is great and makes it really stand out.
Good work too with the Croc pen, - are you planning on building a complete zoo?
