i figured a separate topic could be done...

Myers 25% off

LOTR stuff was there, but it's not my thing.

scored Jabbas Palace and the desert skiff, plus 4 minifigs for $201, which pretty much gave me the skiff and minifigs for free since JP is normally 199.

the kombi and the tower bridge was there as well, as well as most of the present releases of SW sets, and city lego

anyone else have a stocktake sale story?

bought Pet shop and fire dept modulars for $161 and $179

massive shopping day, saved a lot of money.

Okay, so the tiger steps up to the plate now.....the 4207 City Garage will be a Kmart toy sale exclusive and it's quite possible that BigW might score the helicopter rescue (medical centre) set. No idea on prices yet.

Are these sales Australia wide or Sydney Myer stores only?

im sure it's nationwide. the total storewide sale was only for a day, but im sure there will still be discounts. i cant say what the prices are now.

i think that DJ's only had 40% off for one day, then 30% for the rest of the sales

DJ's still has alot of clearance LEGO. I don't think there's a general discount off though, just stuff specifically marked as clearance.

Chermside has no pet stores, but plenty of other cheap gear. I got super lucky and picked up a Cars2 Bentley Bust for $32.50 (yes, it's the one that's normally $130!). All sold out now though...

i was a bad boy again today...

bought the 10xxx space shuttle, and the police station today. i bought the police station for parts, as im going to endeavour to make it into a modern modular MOC

i also grabbed 2 minifig display shelves at big w for $20... im not a big minifig collector, but i buy them here and there.

Typing this from phone, down at davidjones chermside they have red ticket items for good prices. Creator lighthouse $41.97, Coast cafe? (Sorry forgot the item number >< , it spans accross the river) $47, big police station $89. And a few other medium sized sets with red tickets. Gtg bye
