A reintroduction
Hi all,
I have been a member on here for quite awhile bit over the past few months I have been away from here and everything to do with the Lego hobby. In the past I was interested in Lego Technic and had been for a number of years, in November 2011 I sold all my Technic and have been without Lego for a few months.
Now it is the start of 2012 I have started my interest in Lego Trains which is something totally new and different for me, so far I am really enjoying this.
I look forward to being an active part of this forum again with my new passion driving me.
Paul

Hi Brent,
Yes I was thinking about it late last year but I needed to sell all my Technic first and I also had to find the space at home to set them up.
So far I have the Cargo train (7939) set up and over the next few weeks i hope to build a scene around it. I don't have enough space to build it how it is meant to be built so I have modified the track slightly so it fits.

Welcome back Paul B,
... and welcome to the world of trains. It's clearly the best LEGO theme but I may be biased.

Thanks Peter, I am starting to see that already
Re: A reintroduction
Your technic skills wont be wasted either especially if you design your own engines with PF M and XL motors. Keeping the friction down and getting enough traction can take a bit of tweaking, but it's all good fun once it works.

Re: A reintroduction
Welcome back Paul B. I am not a train person myself, but I am married to a kind of Lego train person.
Can't wait to see your work.
