new DINO theme

Just having a look at the Lego Shop at Home site for the new 2012 sets coming out, trying to get a better look. They aren't on the AUS shopping site but are on the US, but there I also came across a new theme called DINO, 6 sets about dinosaur hunters. The big Dino Defense HQ especially looks quite cool, and the hunter helicopter.

Anyone know if these are ever going to be released out here?

Apparently we're getting pretty much all of them albeit later than the rest of the world.

The new City stuff is cool, finally some new vehicles that aren't red or yellow :D

Looking at the 'friends' series, it appears that 'Lego' is finally waking up to the fact that girls also like playing with Lego.

The colour scheme will appeal to girls but it appears that lego is playing 'catch up' with the Chinese 'enlighten' bricks which have had these colours in specific girls sets for years.

The Dino stuff looks pretty cool to me too, it appeared in the catalogue sent out to Australian LEGO club members so it's pretty certain we'll get it next year and perhaps before then.
