MOC - Specimen Tank
Just a few photos of a 'specimen' tank i brickbuilt after designing it in MLCad first.
I might have to add a Round 4 x 4 Plate to the bottom of the cylinder halves, as they tend to pull apart with only the 4 x 4 Dish holding them together at the top. It works as is, but it's a bit 'clunky'.
Also, while searching through some set instructions online, i realised my design shares a lot with the tank in the 7879 Hoth Echo Base and the Prisoner Tanks in some of the Space Police III sets. But meh. I mean, how different can a tank look when they both use the same cylinder parts? :P

I think it looks really cool. I love the smooth finish of it (like how the rounded sides sit firm against the tiles.

Lol, I have to say, the second I saw it, it made me think of a Star Wars Bacta Tank. Also, while searching through some set instructions online, i realised my design shares a lot with the tank in the 7879 Hoth Echo Base
It's a really well made piece, the printed panels really work well, and the smoothness of it is excellent.
(Even though personally, I've been looking at loads of MOC's online and still don't get why people are obsessed with having no studded parts showing. :S)
*thumbs up*

But seriously, i wouldn't say i'm obsessed with studless MOCing, but i do enjoy the challenge. :D

I'm guessing it'd be a bit much to ask how you put this all together? The lack of studded parts always has me guessing. >.<

Haha, yep. As naked as the day he was born, er, spawned. I really wanted a 'sleepy' looking face, but could only find them in Light Flesh. Eww.Daiman wrote:I really like this toob but your speciman is nekkid...oooo AO minifig
