For years I have wanted to move my Harry Potter Knight Bus.

I purchased a Power Function car chassis last year and I have diligently been collecting purple bricks ever since; the Zurg set from Toy Story was a good source [ especially when they were on clearance for $12 ].

I have finished the Mk 1 version. It is 8 x 26 studs and used up a huge pile of purple.

Awesome work. Does the Power functions car chassis work like a remote control or does it just go in the direction you send it in (in the video it goes around).

Thanks Anita.

The PF car chassis comes out of 8183-1 Track Turbo RC and it works great with a PF IR speed controller.

You can steer as well as accelerate but it is hard with a camera in one hand.

The knight bus is a little hard to control as the IR receiver is hidden on the ground floor.

Control is still possible when the controller is low to the ground.

Very interesting creation 'brickie', you should post it on Eurobricks - there are a lot of HP fans on that website. legowink
