greetings lego fans
Hi I stumbled accross your forum, and was interested to see what other AFOLs were up to. I am a complete newbie to forums. I am an emergency nurse and I find lego a great way to escape reality for a while and wind down. I have not really ever stopped building, and still get a real buzz from getting a new set. My favorite sets are Cafe corner and Green grocer, using parts in different ways, discovering new techniques. I really can't wait for the next modular building instalment, have you seen that video showing the Emerald train and the mystery covered building in the background. Look forward to seeing what you are all up to. :legosmile10:

Oh someone in my age bracket....well sort of. Welcome to the site, I am a fellow member and also mod on here as well. I look after the lego star wars section. Drop by and have a look as I have done some reviews in there.

Re: greetings lego fans
Hi dhoman01,
I'm really impressed by CC & GG too, I got them before christmas when David Jones had them for $200 each. They're good value but still expensive if you know what I mean. If KRudd gives me a present with my tax return, I'll pick up Market St and probably the medieval village as well.
I'm a train fan, and in the long term want to build a european city layout so the modular buildings are perfect for me. They also challenge me to improve my building skills, as I'd like to be able to build other buildings that wont look out of place beside them. Actually I dont like the upper two stories of Cafe Corner (I dont think the colours really go well together) but really like the blue lower story so I'd like to replace the upper ones. I'd then have some cool tan and red brick to build something else with
I also can't wait for the next Modular building, and had the mysterious covered object in the Emerald Night video pointed out to me in another forum.
Oh and I'm also in your age bracket
