MOC - Ford Dealership
Well, it has been a long time since I was here last and unless you visit Eurobricks or MOCpages you might not have seen the latest and greatest....so to speak....updating New Mannum starts with New Mannum Ford.

Above we have the dealership, the head mechanic, the boss, his daughter - now some earlier shots showing the operation of the vehicle hoist.

I'll be updating the interior soon, so I'll be posting more pictures then.....comments always welcome and Brick On everyone !

Very cool and very realistic. Love how you made the windows slope in at the bottom and the car jack looks awesome.

Thank you 'AnitaE' for very kind words, the trick I used for the windows I first saw in a coast guard set of 2008 and I remember it. Anyway, I have to retile the showroom floor and refit the coffee machine then I can re-shoot the interior. Keep on watching !

Re: MOC - Ford Dealership
I must agree with Anita, those sloping windows are great! So simple, yet they add so much character and visual interest. Ditto the little 'turret' extensions on the roof corners.
The car hoist is beautiful too! I can't wait to see this floored.

Re: MOC - Ford Dealership
Okay, now to start some important business first.
I must now add this from the Ford Motor Company.
“The Ford blue oval logo is a registered trademark and has been used with the express permission of Ford Motor Company of Australia Limited”
Yep, I have received permission to use the Ford logo for this to go on display in the future (I just have to make a sign saying that phrase to keep the legal people at Ford happy when I go to my next show).
Right Now, update time.

Now that's an update eh ?
Comments welcome.......Brick On !

I must say Lightningtiger, I certainly like your LEGO City MOCs - they look really good. I like the interiors especially.

Re: MOC - Ford Dealership
Thanks 'BrickManLJ', by the way if interested the hoist does hold a 6 wide ute up - gearing holds quite well.
If you like this kind of Lego City building, join me over on Eurobricks, Taxmaniac did and he's now a regulator there. And me lonely poor old Arch Duke.....oh, well.
