The 1975 Tasman Bridge Disaster Empty The 1975 Tasman Bridge Disaster

Post by Free Spirit Wed 06 Apr 2011, 10:17 am

During a conversation I had with my father about LEGO a suggestion was put to me to think seriously about constructing a MOC of the Lake Illawarra and the Tasman Bridge which has some significance in our history.

I'm thinking of building it over the course of the next four years as it will forty years since the event happened all those years ago.

The car that was hanging on the edge of the bridge will be built as close to it as a possible having been informed that I may be able to liase with the owner of it at the time which will be a bonus legohappy

What an awesome challenge this one will be for me !!!

I plan to purchase as many grey bricks as possible with some of the large grey base plates so I can begin to piece it together in sections as it is going to be quite long according to the photos I just googled about the event.

Oh boy...what have got myself into with this enormous task legoheadbang
