MOC: Sticking it to the man

To celebrate my new title (cheers Captain I wont let you down) I give you a glimpse at my latest WIP

Many years ago Red coats pillaged the small islands of Brickstonia enslaving the locals and slaughtering many of their warriors legosad2

.
Upon one of his many adventures Captain Blocksworth (all round good guy) befriended the remnants of one of these once proud tribes and swore he'd help them retake their land and avenge their people, plus he has never been one to say no to a bit of biffo with the old Red coats.
The very man that lead the Red coat raids, (newly appointed governor of the Brickstonian Islands) still resides on the tip of one of the Islands and a plot to return power to the people is concocted.

Yeah about 800 or so blue 1x what ever .

Next question, when you do the base on the side like that, do you have bricks lined up so the top actually clicks into place or does it just sit there on top of the base?

This one is floating but only because I used a 32X32 base plate like an idiot and can't connect to the base but usually there would be a few technic pins keeping it in place.

I was in Dubai when I gave you your title, so I didn't see this until tonight, but I'm very impressed! You've learnt alot since joining the online community TazManiac, and you've picked up some great techniques. I really really do hope to meet you at Brick Expo, and I truly mean that.

You hit the nail on the head there, if it were not for people like your self, ISC, Mr Phes and Derfel Cardan to name a few, there is no way I'd be Mocing at all, and although my next Moc may not be as good as my last I learn something new each time I dig into those brightly coloured bricks and I believe I'm improving.
