Model Makers and Collectors Association - Train Exhibition
Hi guys, I have been asked on behalf of the Taz-Brick Collectors Club to display my layout of Taz-Brick City at the above Model Train Exhibition scheduled for the middle of August which is to be held in Hobart running for two days.
Personally I think this is the way to go for us to get ourselves out there so I am seeking expressions of interest of those who would be interested in participating so the plans can be designed to suit everybody !!!
At this stage I am confident that it doesn't clash with the Canberra Brick Expo

I'd take the "Hell Hound" but it's not really a train ......at all.

Nothing stopping you as long as it fits into my water feature or another one that can be added beside it just so you got it on display.
I want fellow LEGO enthusiasts to feel like they are part of it as I have being instrumental in ensuring we could get a chance with this event.
Who knows we may yet establish a bigger exhibition if the support from the locals and interstate LEGO exhibitors gains momentum.
I will keep you informed of any information that comes to hand.

Wooo, LEGO display! :D
Brick Expo is the 6th and 7th, so fingers crossed you guys can make both. Good work in getting a space at the show Free Spirit.

Re: Model Makers and Collectors Association - Train Exhibition
Just thought I would update the status of this topic with the news that Hobart is on the verge of having its first exhibition as such for the year.
Approximately 3 to 4 of the local enthusiasts are scheduled to display some trains at the Hobart Model Train Show on August 20th and 21st which will be a blast having recently personally being part of some media coverage.
At this stage I am not sure whether I should display my 1980's Cargo and Passenger Train Sets and/or something different like the Public Transport Set # 8404 !!!

Display as much as you can Free Spirit, but remember, you can't go past a good old MOC!
Re: Model Makers and Collectors Association - Train Exhibition
Thanks mate, we are covering some of the range from the 1960's through to current with a MOC or two of a few Tassie icons so the crowd should enjoy what is on show during this great opportunity
