Have you seen one?
One of the things I've planned for my "port" is a Shot tower something I assumed would have been done many times before but alas my searches have been fruitless, has it been done ? and with what success ?
I've begun working on mine but with out the right colours it's just a concept and only 4 stories tall thus far,
sorry no spoilers yet.
I'd love to see some other works to get some inspiration other than our local shot tower (which is a prime example for the period but hard to brick )

Re: Have you seen one?
Great idea! I look forward to seeing it. You'll have to bring your port to Brick Expo 2011.
Re: Have you seen one?
if I can fund the expedition I'd love to be there but that bloody pond between us makes it hard ..... Anyone have a boat I could borrow?? .
So youve never seen one done before?

I think these guys do...
No, can't say I have. Often people have watch towers in ports, but I can't say I've seen this exactly in LEGO before.

Re: Have you seen one?
You should try to find some photo's of Melbourne's shot tower. It's now surrounded by a shopping mall but the tower itself is square so should be far more easily built in brick.
Otherwise you might want to look on brickshelf at castle Mocs, many people build round towers, so their should be at least a few useful techniques to find.
