Theres but its about 20 mins drive so I dont go there often [it also has TRU there]
I havnt seen any Modular buildings there in awhile [they had GG & CC but they went suprisingly fast]
Yeah most shops are closed today. :

I think im in love.....It looks great this is the 3rd truck with that style we've seen so far [Construction, Emergeny & now this] !
I really like the look of the trailer on this. I reckon this could be rebuilt in green then used as a replacement trailer for the one in the Construction Site. Technically, at present the only way to get the excavator on and off the current trailer is with the help of the crane. With this one, you can drive it on and off. I'll have to keep my eye out for this set. The pilot vehicle is also pretty cool. This would make a welcome addition to my citizen's motor pool or even a "Follow Me" vehicle at an airport.

No problem, I'm not really interested in agents but I knew I'd seen the new sets recently.
Just checked my browser history and I found them quickly
Oh and the new Australian lego catalogue was sent with the latest Lego club magazine this week.
It has the new agents in it and available in September.

Excellent!
That's what I need: the catalogue :
Agents, I liked their vehicles of course, but mostly all those extra features they have such the rockets on the car, those cannons etc... ::
If you don't mind me asking, what are the themes that you like? (just mere curiosity :legohat: )

I'm mostly interested in trains. Of course I need buildings to go with that so the modular buildings are great as are some town sets.
Since I want a European layout I can use some of the castle sets such as medieval village.
Everything else is just for the parts, for example theres a new Spongebob rocket ship which has eight white quater round panels,
which make good oil tankers, so I'll probably buy a couple of those.
I've only been active in the AFOL community for a year or so, I went to my first convention this year. Since I found brickshelf and
MOCpages, I've wanted to improve my buildings. There are so many great detailed buildings online I'm bookmarking lots so I can
copy techniques and use them as inspiration for my own buildings.
The only agents set I'm interested in is the robot, as it has some very cool unique minifigs. Other than that I hope to pick up
some of the Trace hair on bricklink. If I were still a kid the agents sets would have been awesome. My childhood was just
ending when minfigs were introduced

Trains.. LEGO TRAINS, I love them! They are actually a very distance dream for me, no big room for one yet, nor time to dedicated to them :O: . Sooooo any way; I've seen so many incredible creations in MOCpages, mostly on buildings and different structures, that are an excellent adding to any train set!... I plan in the -not to far from today- future to build my own train set, it could be fun to add some other sets ::
Have you add any of your buildings some where? such as MOCpages?
Like you I just joined this site and is good, I like it a lot!

Hey... you are good! Can't say nor add more I am very impressed, they are quite well done!... thank you for sharing those
Turbine Transporter
Thanks for the pics peterab! This set looks great. I love how the trailer is designed to accommodate any type of load and the fact that Lego has provided cities with a power source, it's even envorinmentally friendly!! :: I was originally getting this set to better transport my excavator, but I would have to add some ramps so it could drive off the trailer. This set is still pretty cool though. I'll be on the lookout for it, along with everything else I want to buy!!peterab wrote:Heres a folder of picks of the new wind turbine set

I found them not that bad actually, not my first choice in a purchase indeed, but I liked the additional features I found on their vehicles. Besides all the silver bricks that are very useful for many different purposes.

It's not my thing, but it's nice to have a source of dark blue. I think as a toy it has a reasonable story line, and if I were still a kid I'd probably like it.
I think the models were pretty good, and had good playability, though with slightly more realism they might have appealed a bit more to the town builders like me.
All that being said I really want the Agents 2.0 robot. How can anyone not like the flambe setting, and it has some nice new civillian minifigs.
