Re: What I bought today
A box of series 3 Minifigures. Worked out to be $132 posted from Aus. Not sure if that is good or not but I can't find any other series around that price. I would be interested in picking up the other series if I can find them around that price any suggestions would be appreciated.

My thoughts exactly.
You could also try Lego shop@home, but their prices are expensive.

Re: What I bought today
Yeah I have signed up on Bricklink but I am yet to pull the trigger on buying anything there. Guess I am just used to the security of using other places to buy things and it doesn't seem like there would be much buyer protection from buying from there.

Where did you find a seller in Australia who sells a box for that price?
I'll take 2.

Re: What I bought today
Got another 9v train. It's unopened so I'll most likely keep it that way. The price difference between unopened and opened for 9v stuff seems quite small - which is rather puzzling given for the 12v stuff the difference can be thousands!

Bought Toy Stroy Woody roundup 7594 at TRU. Looks like it was leftover stock from the back of the warehouse.

Re: What I bought today
Picked up this 9v set. Once again I'm amazed at the difference in price for new 9v as opposed to new 12v.. This set will most likely stay new as I'll refrain from opening it.
Re: What I bought today
Lego Emporium from David Jones while they have 20% off. Worked out to be $199 and I know I could probably get it 30 bucks cheaper from bricklink but for the convenience I thought it was an ok deal. Can't wait to build it.

Re: What I bought today
I picked up a second copy of the Grand Emporium and Pet Shop on the David Jones website yesterday. At 20% off and free delivery, it wasn't worth the hassle of setting up a PayPal account so I can order from overseas sellers on BrickLink.
Hopefully they don't take too long to be delivered, the expected delivery date was 26th, 4 business days seems awfully long for an Australian business.
Now I really have to stop buying Lego, need to save up for the 2013 realeases.

Re: What I bought today
My Grand Emporium and Pet Shop just arrived from David Jones, only two days for delivery so was quite impressed.
Now to combine my two Grand Emporiums somehow.
The funny thing is that the box they came in was 70% filled with bubble packing - I checked, the Lego boxes were 17cm wide combined, the box was 55cm wide. A bit of overkill I think, but does provide me with another decent size box for storing/transporting larger MOCs.

I'm extremely jealous of all you're trains. Especially the 9V ones.

Nice score Kalia. So what are the other sets that you've got coming?

Train cars 2126 and the high speed train but it's separated into 2 boxes.
Re: What I bought today
The 2126 Train cars are a great set and are a good mix of different types. The three barrel tank car is quite quirky and I've never been sure if it's for carrying wine or for what.

Re: What I bought today
2126 is certainly a great set.
The great thing about LEGO is that the barrels can be carrying whatever you like to imagine is inside.
I always thought it was beer but now I'm thinking it might be a 12 year old malt whiskey.
Then again, seeing as the design of the set came from Denmark, the barrels are probably filled with schnapps.

Re: What I bought today
Just entered a new store called Johnny's Toy Store and bought myself a rare Star Wars Luke's Landspeeder # 8092 for a bargain price of $55.00.
Apparently it is the last one so I am intending to keep it in its box

Re: What I bought today
Train cars 2126 sealed, don't mind the glad wrap, it's just to keep the dust off.
