Looks interesting, although it certainly isn't official LEGO. Still, the eBay seller has 100% positive feedback. Is it something you plan to purchase eddyeddy?

I wouldn't be so sure it's not official. It has the lego logo on it's tag, and the studs. Also LEGO has licenced all sorts of odd stuff in Japan, such as Peanuts bobble heads.

At the moment I'd say the price (US$90) is OK for a quirky CD player, so if you like it bid. I'd want to try and confirm it's authenticity if the price rose to collector levels though.
