Hello from Wellington
Hi.
I've just joined up. I'm coming out of my dreaded dark ages and getting back in to Lego. I mainly build Town, but I'm a big fan of the western line as well
Cheers
Ben

Welcome Ben.
It's good to have another town builder. Do you have any interest in trains?

Hi Peter!
Yes, I do have a soft spot for trains. Not in a obsessive train watching way, but as part and parcel of what makes a city/town tick. I guess I just like building things from 'real life'.
Unfortunatly, I don't have any lego trains, due the cost of buying the sets! and space required, but I'm going started to add train bits to my bricklink orders, to slowly build some up.
I've decided to go with the PF system if possible, then I can use the motors ect with technic as well.
Anyway, I'm going to finish the two mocs I have started before I think of starting anything new.

Welcome to ANZFOL Ben.
I too wish LEGO would do Wild West again, It was a great theme.

I've been saved from becoming too obsesive because the trains I'm most interested in are German
I can sympathise about the space problem, I don't currently have space to set up my layout.
Hopefully the PF stuff will now be stable for a while, its a big investment. I still don't have any because of the cost, but I'm currently working on a steam train which would be good to use a PF motor in.
There are a few train fans on ANZFOL so hopefully we'll all be able to encourage each other along. Lego doesn't make it easy for us in this region.

Re: Hello from Wellington
Indeed LEGO does seem to hate Australia, but there are still some dedicated fans around! Anyway, welcome to ANZFOL mate!
