Lego Trains at my local Model Train Show
I went to my local train show today.
Thought I would put up a few pics / vids up for those who would be intrested.
The guy with the big lay out has been collecting lego for the past 15/20 years
Sorry about the poor quality of the video/pics.

Thats a lot of trains. It's interesting that there are very few custom models. Thanks for the photos.

Re: Lego Trains at my local Model Train Show
That's a pretty cool amount of trains, but it's a little boring - all it is is track with a few sets inside it. Where are all the MOCs? Having said that, next time I'm in NZ I'm going to look that guy up!
Re: Lego Trains at my local Model Train Show
The layout is good in the fact that there is lots of trains bit I'd have to with Zuloo when we did ours we didn't have much track but we had lots of other things like buildings

Hey, that's awesome! I saw that video on YouTube a while back, and I was quite impressed. Is this a group effort or just you? I'm very pleased that you have joined us Allan, welcome to ANZFOL!
Re: Lego Trains at my local Model Train Show

Lego at local train shows'
To those whom visit train shows I would check when the large model railway shows are on in your Capital Cities,as there have been very large and comprehensive Lego City displays in Sydney at the AMRA Liverpool model railway exhibition on the October long week end. There was also a similar large Lego layout in AMRA exhibitions in Perth and Melbourne earlier this year.
Worth seeing, will provide photos later.

Re: Lego Trains at my local Model Train Show
The recent Liverpool LEGO layout was put on by our good friends from SydLUG, many who are members of this forum, and I'm sure MUGS was behind the Melbourne one. As there is a limited number of LEGO events in Australia (2), we have to make use of train shows to shareour hobby with the public. But hey, model railways are pretty cool too, and getting free tickets to check some of their stuff out...
Re: Lego Trains at my local Model Train Show
Could someone from SydLUG give me the name and phone number of their contact person as we have a Wombat Award for delivery and have misslaid the contact address.
With thanks,
