Aussie Town Reboot 2014

Since my first showing of the new NM in April I laid it out today on the sofa at home.......all 2.3 metres of it.


Oh, and I received this email today.......

"Hey Shaun,

Sorry about the late reply, the finished model looks great!!
Would I be able to get your mail address details and a contact number, we would love to send you out a little something in appreciation of the time and effort you put into the model?
There may also be opportunities in the future that we would like to get in contact with yourself to possibly display your work or commission work for marketing purposes if you are interested.

Congratulations on a huge effort and result. You must be proud of the deserved response it's gotten.

Yeah, I'm happy with the positive vibes, etc., I get with my handy work.
It will be on display at Toy Corner in April.

Thanks 'timmy', I was told I would receive a gift from Coles Express......but when and what is a huge ?

Thanks 'timmy', we have had only a medium turn out so far......still five hours tomorrow might have more visitors.

The two days went off okay except I need the old 501 running again and the Landmark came crashing to the pavement  .....oops:(( .....rebuild time......just over a month to Bricktopia - oh, man I'm going to be flat out on both AC and NM layouts - keep watching everyone !

The bank and servo will get fixed up tomorrow.......I'm still open for suggestions mainly to do with vehicles ?

Existing vehicles or vehicles to build? It looks like it needs utes and big old Fairlanes.

Well I have two utes of sorts.......now some old cars......let me look into that thanks for the suggestion 'Breezy' !   

Now I have this much done to NM......I've left the shed off this series of photos.....no room on top for photographing it.

LT, Looking great but I believe that it needs some gardens along the roadside, and some animals wandering the town.

Most country towns have dogs in the back of every ute and strays p%^s&%g on anything standing still.

Yeah, I have some bushes to go by the white fencing.......some dogs.....dam, Lego haven't done a border collie or blue healer yet ? LOL
Vehicle suggestions that can be Lego-fied are very welcome ?

I fixed up the side of the shed with some extra fencing.....next vehicles and minifigs.....keep watching for the next update.
